The Bahrain Society of the Private Training Institutes

BSPTI was established 23rd of October 2004, the Ministerial Order (No. 18) of year 2005 was issued, to officially announce its formation on the 8th of June, 2005.

Since its inception, BSPTI has aimed to support and protect the interests of training institutions, by making them an authentic partner in the development of the vocational training sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The Board of Directors of the association consists of five members: the President, the Vice President, the Secretary, the Financial Secretary and the Chairman of the Membership and Events Committee.


BSPTI’s Vision

The Bahrain Society of the Private Training Institutes aspires and look forward to making the Kingdom of Bahrain a regional centre for professional training, professional development and sustainable human development.


Our Mission

BSPTI collaborate with local, regional and international authorities to achieve its vision by:

  • Enabling the private training institutes to perform their role as strategic partners in the continuous process of development and vocational training in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
  • Contribute to the study and determining of training needs and emerging competencies required in the Bahraini labor market in cooperation with Tamkeen and other supervisory entities.
  • Work to enhance the level of administrators and leaders in private training institutions.
  • Provide training solutions based on learning outcomes of international standards.
  • Work with all supervisory bodies with full transparency.

  • Work with all supervisory bodies in the vocational training industry in the Kingdom of Bahrain to overcome all difficulties, and develop the necessary solutions to enable training institutions to play their leading role in the development of the vocational training sector.


Our Goals

  • To take care of the interests of private training institutions, support them morally and administratively, and represent them before all supervisory bodies in the technical vocational training industry in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
  • Supporting ambitious national plans to reduce unemployment by introducing learning-based training solutions based on international standards in cooperation with government and civil authorities that enable job seekers to get the right job.
  • Spreading the culture of training and professional development and raising awareness of the importance of training and development in increasing performance and productivity in the work environment.
  • Active and diligent participation in all committees that emanate from Tamkeen, the Ministry of Labor, the National Qualifications Authority and the Quality Assurance of Education and Training, and civil society institutions to develop and represent training institutions and act as strategic partners with all stakeholders.
  • Organizing institutional relations between private training institutions and contributing to the development of training policies to raise the level of training and its outcomes.


BSPTI Activities

Our Activities Include the Following:

  • Organize and present educational seminars on training and human development.
  • Surveys of the satisfaction of training institutions about the services provided by supervisory bodies.
  • Studies on the most important challenges in the vocational training sector.
  • Conferences and exhibitions related to the latest developments in the field of vocational training and human development.
  • Introductory visits to training institutions to identify their challenges.
  • Local, regional and global participation in technical vocational training and human development.
  • Representing the Kingdom of Bahrain regionally and internationally in vocational training events and occasions.
